Delivery and Payment

Delivery area

We deliver to the countries that can be selected at checkout. You will be shown whether a product can be delivered to your chosen address before you complete your order.

Delivery Times

For items in stock, the delivery time within Germany is 1 to 4 working days and to other EU countries 5 to 7 working days. For goods requiring a haulage contractor, direct dispatch and products with different availability, the delivery time stated on the product page and at checkout applies. Working days are Monday to Saturday; Sundays and public holidays are not included.

The delivery time begins on the day after the contract is concluded. For payment in advance, it begins on the day after your payment is credited to our account.

If we promise same-day dispatch for a product, we will also state on the product page the time by which we must have received your order and payment.

Delivery methods

Depending on the weight, dimensions and delivery address, we deliver via DHL, DPD, UPS or a carrier specified by name at checkout. Carrier deliveries are generally made to the kerbside. The specific carrier, service and delivery time are displayed before you place your order.

For deliveries via a freight forwarder, the forwarder will arrange the delivery date with you in advance by telephone. We will provide the forwarder with the telephone number you have supplied for this purpose.

Delivery charges

The delivery charges applicable to your order are shown as a total amount on the product page or, at the latest, at the checkout before you submit your order. For goods delivered by a freight forwarder, these charges are based on weight, dimensions and delivery location. All delivery charges quoted to consumers include the applicable statutory VAT.

Payment methods

Depending on the country of delivery and the order, payment in advance by bank transfer, credit card, Amazon Pay or purchase on account may be offered. Only the payment methods actually available for selection at checkout are binding. We do not charge any additional fees for using these payment methods.

For prepayment, please make a bank transfer to GENERATOR.EU UG (limited liability), quoting the order number. You will receive the bank account details during the ordering process and in the order confirmation. Dispatch will take place once payment has been received.

Purchase on account is only available to approved business customers.

Value Added Tax

Consumer prices are displayed as total prices including the applicable VAT. The standard German VAT rate is normally 19 per cent. For eligible photovoltaic products, the zero rate may apply in accordance with Section 12(3) of the German VAT Act (UStG), provided the relevant conditions are met. For tax-exempt intra-Community supplies, the conditions set out in Sections 4(1)(b) and 6a of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG) apply. The final tax treatment will be shown on a per-item basis before the order is placed.

Customs duties and import charges

For deliveries outside the European Union, import VAT, customs duties and fees may apply. These are levied by the relevant authorities and are not included in the shop price, unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout.
