1 Scope

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on generator.eu. The legal basis for this is the GDPR and the Telecommunications, Digital Services and Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

2 Essential Technologies

Essential technologies enable the shopping basket, language selection, login, protection against attacks and the storage of your privacy preferences. This also includes Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects our contact form against automated attacks. We use these technologies without consent in accordance with Section 25(2) of the TDDDG. The subsequent processing of personal data is based, depending on the purpose, on Article 6(1)(b) or (f) of the GDPR.

3. Statistics, convenience and marketing

We only load the following technologies once you have given your consent:

  • Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager,
  • Meta Pixel and Meta Conversion API,
  • the widget for our AI voice assistant from Retell AI, which is integrated on all pages.

The legal bases are Section 25(1) of the TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The assistant widget will not be loaded without your consent; instead, you can contact us as usual by telephone, email or via the contact form.

4 Payment services and embedded content

Stripe and Amazon Pay are loaded during the checkout process as soon as you select the relevant payment method. This is necessary to process the payment you have chosen.

We do not currently embed external videos, maps or similar embedded content. Should we embed such content in future, it will only be loaded once you have given your consent and will be listed in this policy and in the settings dialogue.

5 Your Choices

You can reject all non-essential technologies, accept them all, or select them by category. Rejecting is just as easy as accepting. No optional categories are pre-selected. You can change or withdraw your selection at any time via the ‘Cookie settings’ link in the footer.

We store your selection for twelve months; after that, we will ask again. To provide evidence of your consent, we also store which categories you have selected, as well as the time and version of the consent dialogue.

6 Current list of technologies

The settings dialogue displays the name, provider, purpose, category and storage period for each technology actually in use. This dynamic list is authoritative and is updated whenever there are changes to the technical configuration.
