TheKönner & Söhnen KS 18-1DE-G is a single-phase diesel generator housed in a soundproof enclosure, designed to provide a reliable backup power supply for facilities operating at 230 V. The model delivers 16 kW of rated power and 17.6 kW of peak power, making it suitable for private homes, commercial premises, workshops, warehouses, technical areas, security systems, pumping equipment and other critical loads.

The main feature of the KS 18-1DE-G version is the BFM3 G1 water-cooled 4-cylinder diesel engine with electronic speed control. This configuration ensures more precise engine control, a stable 50 Hz frequency and more reliable operation under load. The engine has a displacement of 3170 cm³ and an output power of 20 kW.

The generator operates at a low speed of 1,500 rpm, which is important for stationary backup power supply, longer operation and reduced stress on key components. Water cooling helps maintain a stable temperature during operation, whilst the pre-heating function facilitates starting in more challenging conditions.

To ensure high-quality power supply, the KS 18-1DE-G is equipped with an intelligent AVR system. This helps stabilise the output voltage and reduces the risk of unwanted fluctuations when connecting equipment. This is particularly useful for pumps, tools, automation, lighting, control systems and other loads for which voltage stability is crucial.

Control is implemented via the Datakom D300+2G controller with a graphical LCD display. It allows you to monitor key operating parameters, generator status, warnings and fault messages. This makes operation more convenient and diagnostics faster and clearer.

The model features an ATS connection, so it can be used as part of an automatic backup power supply system. When connected to the appropriate automation, the power station can start up in the event of a mains power failure and supply power to critical loads without manual intervention.

The power station’s housing is made of metal and features sound insulation, moisture protection, all-weather construction and a vandal-proof design. This version features a galvanised housing, which provides additional protection for the metal components. The protection class is IP54, and the noise level is 72/97 dB LpA (7 m)/LwA.

The 55-litre fuel tank ensures long-lasting autonomous operation. With a fuel consumption of 3.3 l/h at 50% load, the estimated operating time at 100% load is approximately 8.3 hours. For stable and safe operation when used as the main power source, it is recommended not to exceed a continuous load of 80% of the rated power.

One 32A/230V socket and two 16A/230V sockets are provided for connecting loads.
