The EcoFlow 1940 Wp balcony solar system with STREAM Ultra X 3.84 kWh is a high-performance kit for the balcony, a terrace or a private solar installation where not only high electricity generation during the day but also a large energy reserve for later use is required.

The kit comprises the EcoFlow STREAM Ultra X battery with a capacity of 3.84 kWh and four AIKO Neostar Pro 3S+ solar panels , each rated at 485 W. The total peak power output of the solar panels is 1,940 Wp, making the system well-suited to scenarios where the battery needs to be charged more quickly and daylight hours are to be utilised more efficiently throughout the day.

The STREAM Ultra X features 4 MPPT trackers and supports a solar input of up to 2,000 W. This is well suited to the four-module configuration, as each PV channel is designed for a power output of up to 500 W. The maximum PV input voltage is 60 V DC, and each AIKO-A485-MCE54Db module has an open-circuit voltage of 41.00 V and an operating voltage at the point of maximum power of 34.60 V.

The system is connected to the 230 V domestic mains supply. The mains AC power output is up to 800 W, the AC power output from the storage unit is up to 1,200 W, and the bypass output supports loads of up to 2,300 W. This makes it possible to use the stored solar energy not only for basic consumption but also for more energy-intensive domestic applications, within the limits of the system’s capacity.

The total weight of the kit’s main components is approximately 135.6 kg, excluding cables, packaging and mounting hardware. The STREAM Ultra X storage unit weighs 38.8 kg, whilst the four solar modules together weigh approximately 96.8 kg. The dimensions of the storage unit are 420 × 294 × 460 mm, whilst those of a single module are 1762 × 1134 × 30 mm.

As the set consists of a separate storage unit and four solar modules, the overall dimensions depend on the type of installation. If the modules are arranged in a row without spacing between them, the approximate area of the modules is 7048 × 1134 × 30 mm. When arranged in a 2×2 grid, the approximate area of the modules is 3524 × 2268 × 30 mm. The total area of the four solar modules is approximately 7.99 m².

Control and monitoring are carried out via the EcoFlow app. The STREAM Ultra X supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing the user to monitor the system’s operation, view the battery status and adjust settings via the EcoFlow app.

The storage unit has an IP65 protection rating, an operating temperature range of -20 to +55 °C, a battery self-heating function for low-temperature charging, and a noise level of less than 30 dB. This makes the system practical for everyday use, where quiet operation, protection from the elements and stable performance throughout the different seasons are important.

The AIKO Neostar Pro 3S+ solar modules feature an all-black design, N-type ABC cells, double glazing, a black aluminium frame, original MC4 connectors and an IP68 junction box. The modules come with a 30-year product warranty and a 30-year performance warranty, whilst the warranty for the STREAM Ultra X storage unit is 10 years.

The package includes the STREAM Ultra X 3.84 kWh, 4 AIKO Neostar Pro 3S+ solar modules (485 W each), 4 pairs of 5+3 m solar extension cables with a total length of 8 m, and a 1.5 m AC cable for connection to a 230 V socket. If required, the system can be supplemented with longer solar cables or flat cables to allow for easy routing through window or door frames.
