The EcoFlow 1000 Wp Balcony Solar Power Station with STREAM Max 1.92 kWh is a compact kit designed for balconies, terraces or home solar systems, where you need to combine daily solar energy generation with the ability to store it for evening and night-time use.
The kit consists of an EcoFlow STREAM Max battery with a capacity of 1.92 kWh and two NIWA JW-HD108N-R2-500 solar panels from Jolywood, each rated at 500 W. The total peak power of the solar modules is 1000 Wp, making the system well-suited for basic household consumption, charging the battery during the day, and reducing dependence on the mains grid.
STREAM Max functions as a smart energy buffer. During sunny hours, it stores surplus energy and then releases it when consumption in the home increases. This is particularly useful in the morning, evening and at times when there is insufficient sunlight but electricity is still required for household appliances.
The storage unit has 2 MPPT trackers and supports a PV input of up to 1000 W, i.e. up to 500 W per channel. The system connects to the 230 V domestic mains supply, has a mains AC output of up to 800 W, a battery AC output of up to 1200 W, and supports connected devices via a bypass output of up to 2300 W.
The total weight of the main components in the kit is approximately 76.6 kg, excluding cables, packaging and mounting hardware. The STREAM Max battery weighs 22.0 kg, and the two solar panels together weigh approximately 54.6 kg. The battery measures 284×255×458 mm, and each panel measures 1960×1134×30 mm.
Actual dimensions depend on the installation method. If the two panels are placed in a single row without mounting gaps, the approximate panel area will be 3920×1134×30 mm. If the panels are placed one above the other, the approximate panel area will be 1960×2268×30 mm. The total area of the two solar modules is approximately 4.45 m².
The NIWA JW-HD108N-R2-500 solar panels feature a full-black design, a bifacial construction, a glass-on-glass configuration, N-Type J-TOPCon technology and an efficiency of 22.5%. Thanks to their bifacial design, the panels can generate additional power from reflected light if installed on a suitable surface.
Control and monitoring are available via the EcoFlow mobile app. The STREAM Max supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and a connection to Wi-Fi and the EcoFlow App is required for full functionality of the STREAM series. In the app, you can view system performance data, monitor the battery and configure usage scenarios.
The battery has an IP65 protection rating, an operating temperature range of -20 to +55 °C, self-heating for low-temperature charging, and a noise level of less than 30 dB. This makes the kit convenient for everyday use at home, where quiet operation, stability and easy connection are important.
The kit includes a STREAM Max 1.92 kWh battery, 2 NIWA JW-HD108N-R2-500 solar panels (500 W each), 2 pairs of 5+3 m solar extension cables with a total length of 8 m, as well as a 1.5 m AC cable for connection to a 230 V socket. If required, the system can be supplemented with longer solar cables or flat cables for convenient routing through window or door frames.
