The EcoFlow 800 W 970 W balcony solar power station is a ready-to-use kit for generating solar energy and feeding it into your home’s electrical system. The system consists of two high-efficiency AIKO Neostar Pro 3S+ solar panels, each with a capacity of 485 W, and an EcoFlow STREAM micro-inverter. The total solar capacity of the kit is 970 W, whilst the feed-in to the grid is limited to 800 W.

This kit is well suited for a balcony, terrace, garden, garage, the roof of an outbuilding, or any other location where a mounting structure is already in place. This version is supplied without mounting brackets, making it a convenient choice if a mounting system is already available or if a bespoke installation is planned for specific conditions.

The main component of the system is the EcoFlow STREAM micro-inverter. It converts energy from the solar panels into alternating current for the home network. The inverter has 2 independent MPPT trackers with a solar input of up to 600 W per MPPT. This is important when the panels are installed at different angles, have different orientations, or are partially shaded during the day.

The EcoFlow STREAM starts operating from as little as 3 W of solar power. This allows the system to start earlier in the morning and continue generating power in low light in the evening. For everyday use, this means more usable energy throughout the day, especially in changeable weather.

The kit includes two AIKO Neostar Pro 3S+ panels, each with a power output of 485 W. They utilise modern ABC technology, have an efficiency of up to 24.3% and perform well in partial shade. The all-black front surface with no visible silver contacts gives the panels a neat appearance, making them suitable for modern façades, balconies and open structures.

The panels feature a double-glass design with 2.0+2.0 mm semi-tempered glass. Each panel measures 1762×1134×30 mm and weighs 24.2 kg. This format is better suited for fixed installations where performance, durability and stable power generation are key.

Control and monitoring are available via the EcoFlow app. Here, you can view current generation, system status, grid feed-in and other operating parameters. The inverter’s external antenna helps ensure a more stable Wi-Fi connection.

The kit includes an EcoFlow STREAM micro-inverter, two AIKO Neostar Pro 3S+ solar panels, two pairs of 3-metre solar extension cables and a 5-metre AC cable for connection to a 230 V socket. If the panels are installed further away from the inverter, additional solar extension cables may be required.
