Jackery DC8020 car charging cable

The Jackery DC8020 car charging cable is a handy cable for charging compatible Jackery Explorer power stations via a car’s 12 V socket. It is ideal for travelling, camping, road trips and situations where a 230 V socket is not available.

The cable plugs directly into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter or 12 V socket. The other end connects to the input of a compatible Jackery Power Station. This allows the Power Station to be recharged whilst driving or with the engine running.

The maximum current is 10 A and the maximum voltage is 12 V. This allows for charging power of up to approximately 120 W, depending on the vehicle’s socket, the fuse and the connected Powerstation. Charging in the car is no substitute for fast AC charging via 230 V, but it is a very practical solution for recharging whilst on the move.

The Jackery car charging cable uses a DC8020 connector and is designed for Jackery power stations with a compatible DC8020 input. An additional adapter may be required for models with a USB-C charging port. You should therefore always check the connection on your specific power station before use.

The 2 m cable length provides sufficient reach for use in a vehicle. The cable can be conveniently routed from the 12 V socket to the power station in the passenger compartment, boot or camping area.

The conductor is made of copper and is designed for low resistance. The robust PVC sheath protects the cable during daily use and ensures good flexibility. This makes it suitable for regular charging whilst travelling and during mobile use.

Important: This cable is intended for use in the direction from the car to the power station. It is not designed for charging a car battery. To ensure a stable charge, the engine should be running during the charging process so that the vehicle battery is not unnecessarily drained.
