The Bluetti EP760+2xB500 is a home backup power station designed to power essential household appliances during power cuts, work with solar panels, and reduce dependence on the mains supply. The kit consists of an EP760 inverter and two B500 batteries, providing 7600 W of rated power and a total capacity of 9920 Wh.
This configuration is well suited for a house, holiday home, office or technical room where it is necessary to maintain the operation of lighting, a fridge, a router, pumping equipment, a heating system, household appliances, work electronics and other devices within the permissible load limits. Unlike less powerful portable power stations, the EP760 is specifically designed for stationary home backup power.
The EP760 inverter provides a single-phase output power of up to 7600 W. This allows you to connect not only basic loads but also more power-hungry devices, provided the total load is correctly configured. The output voltage is a pure sine wave, so the system is suitable for powering household appliances, electronics and equipment that require a stable power supply.
The battery section is based on LiFePO4 batteries. Each B500 battery has a capacity of 4,960 Wh, and a set of two batteries provides a total of 9,920 Wh. This energy reserve allows the system to be used as a reliable home backup during emergency or planned power cuts.
The system supports UPS and pass-through charging, so it can function as a backup power source during grid instability. This is particularly useful for equipment that should not be switched off for long periods: communications, automation, heating, refrigeration, lighting or industrial machinery.
One of the key advantages of the EP760 is its ability to work with solar panels. The maximum solar power capacity is up to 9,000 W, so the system can be integrated with an existing or new solar power plant. In this scenario, surplus solar energy can be stored in the batteries and used in the evening, at night, in cloudy weather or during a power cut.
The system can be controlled via the BLUETTI app. Through it, you can monitor energy consumption, view the system status, switch operating modes and perform updates. This makes the EP760 more convenient for daily use and for customising to your own power supply scenario.
The housing has an IP65 rating, which enhances resistance to dust and moisture. However, installation must take into account requirements for ventilation, protection from direct weather exposure, and professional connection. The noise level is stated as less than 50 dB, so the system operates significantly quieter than petrol generators.
TheBluetti EP760+2xB500 is the ideal starter configuration for home backup power, offering a high output of 7600 W, a capacity of 9920 Wh, LiFePO4 batteries, UPS support, a solar input of up to 9000 W, IP65 protection and app control.
