Bluetti EP2000+2xB700 Home Backup Power Station

The Bluetti EP2000+2xB700 is a home backup power system designed for properties that require not just a charging station, but a comprehensive solution for integration with the mains grid, solar panels and key household appliances. The kit, comprising two B700 batteries, provides 14.7 kWh of capacity and 10.5 kW of output power, making it well-suited as a basic backup for a private home, a cottage, a small office or a technical room.

The system is based on the EP2000 hybrid inverter, the HV800 voltage controller and two B700 battery modules. This architecture allows the system to be used both for backup power and to increase self-consumption of solar energy. The EP2000 supports the connection of solar panels with a total capacity of up to 30 kW, making it suitable for use as part of a large home solar system.

The B700 batteries use safe LiFePO₄ chemistry. A single module has a capacity of 7372.8 Wh, whilst a set of two batteries provides a total of 14.7 kWh. This is the optimal starting configuration for those who want a substantial energy reserve but do not wish to overpay for excess capacity at the initial stage.

Switchover speed is crucial for backup power. In the EP2000, it is less than 10 ms, so the system quickly switches to battery power when the mains supply fails. This helps to keep essential loads running: lighting, the fridge, pumps, communication systems, automation, some household appliances and other critical equipment.

Via the BLUETTI App, you can monitor the system’s operation, view the charge status, manage modes and configure usage scenarios. The available modes are Eigenverbrauch / Self-Consumption, Backup, Time of Use and Custom Mode. This allows the system to be adapted for self-consumption, backup power or tariff savings.
