Anker SOLIX BP1600 Additional Battery

The Anker SOLIX BP1600 is an additional expansion battery for smart balcony power station storage systems in the Anker SOLIX Solarbank 2 series. With a capacity of 1600 Wh, it increases the available storage capacity and helps to store more self-generated solar energy for later use.

The additional battery is particularly suitable for households wishing to flexibly expand their Solarbank 2 system. Thanks to the modular plug-and-play design, the battery modules are simply stacked vertically on top of one another. The connection is made via integrated, concealed contacts, so no external connection cables are required.

1600 Wh of additional storage capacity

With a capacity of 1600 Wh per module, the Anker SOLIX BP1600 expands the energy reserve of your Solarbank 2 system. This is particularly useful when more solar power is generated during the day than can be consumed directly in the home. The stored energy is then available later in the evening, at night or when demand is higher.

Modular plug-and-play system

The BP1600 has been designed for easy expansion without complicated cabling. The battery modules are stacked vertically and connected automatically via the integrated contacts. This ensures a neat, space-saving installation that can be set up quickly.

Expandable up to 9.6 kWh

Depending on the system configuration, up to five BP1600 expansion batteries can be combined with a compatible Solarbank 2 base unit. This allows the total capacity of the system to be increased to up to 9.6 kWh.

Robust housing with IP65 protection

The housing of the Anker SOLIX BP1600 is IP65-rated for protection against dust and water. The additional battery is therefore also suitable for use on open balconies, terraces or other sheltered outdoor areas. Rain, snow and dust are no problem for the sealed housing.

Reliable operation at low temperatures

The BP1600 is designed for a temperature range of -20 °C to +55 °C. The integrated automatic cell heating system ensures safe charging at low temperatures and makes the battery suitable for use in winter.

Long-lasting LiFePO4 technology

The LiFePO4 battery technology used offers high safety, stable performance and a long service life. The battery is rated for up to 6,000 charge cycles and comes with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.
