The Anker SOLIX BP2000 Gen2 is the ideal expansion battery for the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen2 Power Station. It increases the available storage capacity by 2048Wh, turning the C2000 Gen2 into a significantly more durable power system for use at home, when camping, in a motorhome, for outdoor work and as an emergency power supply.
If the power station’s standard capacity is insufficient for longer periods of use, the BP2000 Gen2 offers a simple and neat solution. The additional battery connects directly to the main unit and operates as part of the system. This means there is no need to operate a second, separate power station, and the power is available centrally via the C2000 Gen2’s ports.
With the BP2000 Gen2, the total capacity of the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen2 is expanded to 4096Wh. This is particularly useful when you need to power not just smartphones or laptops, but actual household appliances for longer periods: fridges, routers, lighting, TVs, medical devices, cool boxes, power tool batteries or equipment in a motorhome.
Particularly during power cuts, it is not just the maximum power output that counts, but the runtime. A power station with greater battery capacity can supply important appliances for significantly longer and provides greater peace of mind when the power is likely to be out not just for a few hours, but overnight or for a whole day.
When combined with the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen2, the BP2000 Gen2 becomes a powerful solution for a private emergency power supply. The additional battery helps to keep critical appliances running for longer. This is particularly useful for fridges, internet, lighting and work equipment, which simply cannot be allowed to fail in everyday life.
Even for households that already use a power station as a backup, the extension battery is a logical next step. Instead of buying a completely new device, the existing C2000 Gen2 is equipped with more power.
When camping, in a van or in a motorhome, additional battery capacity is often more important than peak power output alone. The BP2000 Gen2 extends the runtime for cool boxes, lighting, portable kitchen appliances, cameras, drones, laptops and chargers. This ensures a more stable power supply, even during longer stays away from fixed mains connections.
This extension is particularly useful when there isn’t always enough solar power available during the day, or when the power station needs to supply several devices at once. Greater capacity means more of a buffer and less pressure to recharge straight away.
The Anker SOLIX BP2000 Gen2 utilises LFP battery technology. This battery chemistry is designed for high safety, a long service life and regular use. The battery is designed for up to 4,000 charge cycles down to 80 per cent remaining capacity, making it suitable not only for occasional emergencies but also for more frequent use.
The BP2000 Gen2 is connected to the compatible power station via the Battery-to-Host cable. It then functions as an extension of the main station. Charging and discharging take place via the entire system, ensuring that use remains straightforward for the customer.
Important: The Anker BP2000 Gen2 is specifically designed for the Anker SOLIX C2000 Gen2. It is not a standalone energy storage unit with its own AC outputs and, according to the manufacturer, is not compatible with the Anker SOLIX F2000.
The additional battery is a good choice for anyone who wants to expand their power station sensibly rather than replace it. It offers longer runtime, greater safety and more flexibility without requiring a complex installation. This makes the Anker BP2000 Gen2 particularly well-suited to users who wish to make more intensive use of their C2000 Gen2 for emergency power, travel, outdoor work or use in a motorhome.
