ThePramac GDW 65 I 400/230 V is a powerful three-phase diesel generator designed for sites where power stability, durability and the ability to operate continuously are critical. The model delivers 52.8 kW of maximum power and 47.9 kW of rated power, allowing it to be used for backup or primary power supply to production sites, service centres, engineering systems, warehouses and other commercial infrastructure.
This model is fitted with an FPT NEF45SM1A diesel engine with a displacement of 4,500 cm³. The engine features turbocharging and an intercooler, which is particularly important for reliable operation under high loads and stable power output. Liquid cooling maintains a reliable thermal regime, whilst a mechanical speed governor ensures predictable operation of the unit across various operating modes.
For starting, the generator is equipped with an electric starter and a 12 V battery system. This configuration simplifies starting and makes the model suitable for backup systems where a rapid supply of electricity is essential. The technical specifications state a 12 V battery voltage without specifying the capacity, so it is correct to refer to a 12-volt starting system.
The Pramac GDW 65 I operates at 400/230 V, 50 Hz and is three-phase. The generator uses a Leroy Somer TAL 042 H brushless alternator with insulation class H and IP23 protection. The maximum current is 95 A, allowing for the connection of a wide range of three-phase equipment, engineering units, pumping systems, ventilation and automated loads. Fuel consumption at 100% load is 13.67 l/h.
One of the model’s key advantages is its enlarged 209-litre internal fuel tank, enabling the generator to operate for longer without refuelling. In the Canopy soundproof version, the model measures 2402×1033×1727 mm, weighs 1219 kg and has a noise level of 63/92 dB. Thanks to the combination of a powerful FPT engine, a large fuel tank, electric start and a reliable three-phase unit, the Pramac GDW 65 I 400/230 V is a practical solution for sites with high demands on autonomous power supply.
