Pramac S 5000 230V AVR petrol generator

The Pramac S5000 230 V 50 Hz #CONN is a professional petrol generator designed for intensive continuous use in construction, trades, the service sector and for emergency power supply. The model is rated at 230 V / 50 Hz, operates in single-phase mode and belongs to Pramac’s professional S series. Standard features include a built-in wheel kit, a folding transport handle, a large metal fuel tank with a fuel level indicator, and a front control panel with all essential control and monitoring functions.

The generator delivers 5.3 kVA / 4.8 kW ESP and 4.2 kVA / 3.9 kW COP. It is therefore ideal for powering tools, pumps, lighting, construction sites, workshop operations and as a reliable backup power source. The control panel includes an OFF-ON-START key switch, a throttle button, a voltmeter, an hour meter, a frequency meter and a fuel level indicator. Additionally, it features a thermal-magnetic circuit breaker, an oil level monitoring system and a 10 A fuse for 12 V DC.

A particular advantage of this version is the CONNector socket for AMF/RSS. According to the PDF file, the unit is equipped for automatic switchover to AMF emergency power and RSS ‘Start/Stop’ radio remote control. With the optional AMF solution, mains voltage can be monitored and the generator automatically switched on in the event of a mains failure. As soon as the mains supply is restored, the generator switches off again. This makes this version particularly suitable for applications requiring emergency power.

The unit is powered by a 270 cm³ Honda GX270 Electric petrol engine, featuring air cooling and a mechanical speed governor. The generator is equipped with an electric starter, a built-in starter battery in the frame, a spark arrester on the exhaust and low-oil protection. The fuel tank has a capacity of 27 litres and provides a running time of up to 16.17 hours at 75% load or 12.16 hours at 100% load. Fuel consumption is 1.67 l/h at 75% load and 2.22 l/h at 100% load.

For connecting loads, there is 1 Schuko socket (230 V, 16 A, IP54), 1 CEE socket (230 V, 16 A, IP44 ) and 1 CEE socket (230 V, 32 A, IP44). There is also a 12 V DC output for a charger. The built-in generator is a brushless NSM Class H, IP23 unit with a capacitor voltage regulation system. The voltage tolerance is +5 / -10% (cosφ1).

Weighing 89 kg and measuring 840 × 615 × 753 mm, the S5000 has a robust design and is intended for daily professional use. The guaranteed sound power level is 97 dB(A), and the sound pressure level at a distance of 7 metres is 69 dB(A). Thanks to its compact frame design, large wheels and folding handle, the unit is easy to transport despite its power.
