The EcoFlow 1500 Wp balcony solar power station with STREAM Ultra 1.92 kWh is a high-performance kit for balconies, terraces or home solar systems where increased solar energy generation is required, along with the ability to store it for later use.
The kit includes an EcoFlow STREAM Ultra battery with a capacity of 1.92 kWh and three NIWA JW-HD108N-R2-500 solar panels from Jolywood, each with a power output of 500 W. The total power of the solar modules is 1500 Wp, making the system well-suited for daily electricity generation and faster charging of the battery during sunny hours.
The STREAM Ultra functions as a smart energy buffer for the home. During the day, the system stores surplus solar energy, which can then be used during periods of high consumption. This is particularly useful in the evening, in the morning, or when electricity consumption does not coincide with peak solar generation.
The battery is equipped with 4 MPPT trackers and supports a PV input of up to 2000 W, i.e. up to 500 W per channel. This kit uses three 500 W solar panels, so the system has a good margin on the PV input and remains flexible for practical connection.
The kit connects to the 230 V domestic mains supply. The mains AC output is up to 800 W, the battery’s AC output is up to 1200 W, and the bypass output supports connected devices with a power rating of up to 2300 W. This allows the stored solar energy to be used not only for basic consumption but also for individual household appliances within the system’s capacity.
The total weight of the main components of the kit is approximately 105.0 kg, excluding cables, packaging and mounting hardware. The STREAM Ultra battery weighs 23.1 kg, and the three solar panels together weigh approximately 81.9 kg. The battery measures 284×255×458 mm, and each panel measures 1960×1134×30 mm.
As the kit consists of a separate storage unit and three solar panels, the actual dimensions depend on the installation layout. If the panels are arranged in a single row without installation gaps, the approximate panel area will be 5880×1134×30 mm. If the panels are arranged one above the other, the approximate panel area will be 1960×3402×30 mm. The total area of the three solar modules is approximately 6.67 m².
The NIWA JW-HD108N-R2-500 solar panels feature a Full Black design, a glass-on-glass construction, N-Type J-TOPCon technology and a bifacial design. Thanks to the bifacial design, the panels can achieve additional power generation from reflected light if installed on a suitable surface.
Control and monitoring are available via the EcoFlow mobile app. The STREAM Ultra supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, so users can monitor the system’s operation, view generation and storage data, and configure usage scenarios via the EcoFlow App.
The storage unit has an IP65 protection rating, an operating temperature range of -20 to +55 °C, battery self-heating for low-temperature charging, and a noise level of less than 30 dB. This makes the kit practical for everyday use at home, where quiet operation, stability and protection from external conditions are important.
The kit includes a STREAM Ultra 1.92 kWh battery, 3 NIWA JW-HD108N-R2-500 solar panels (500 W each), 3 pairs of 5+3 m solar extension cables with a total length of 8 m, as well as a 1.5 m AC cable for connection to a 230 V socket. If required, the system can be supplemented with longer solar cables or flat cables for convenient routing through window or door frames.
