ThePramac E8000 is a professional three-phase petrol generator designed for backup and standby power supply at 400/230 V / 50 Hz. The model is designed for stable operation with three-phase equipment and also allows for the connection of single-phase loads. The generator combines a reliable Honda engine, simple design and ease of maintenance for daily use.
The generator delivers 6.6 kW of maximum power (ESP) and 5.6 kW of continuous power (COP) in three-phase mode. For single-phase connection, the manufacturer specifies a maximum power of 4.0 kVA and a continuous power of 3.7 kVA. This is important to bear in mind if the generator is to be used primarily for 230 V loads.
The model uses a 389 cm³ air-cooled Honda GX390 petrol engine. The generator features a manual start (Recoil), a mechanical speed regulator and a 6.1-litre fuel tank. Fuel consumption is 2.86 l/h at 100% load and 2.15 l/h at 75% load. Runtime reaches 2.13 hours at 100% load and 2.84 hours at 75% load.
The generator is equipped with an NSM brush-type alternator with insulation class H and IP23 protection. The voltage regulation system is Compound, and the permissible voltage deviation is 6%. Page 3 also lists Thermal protection and Oil Guard. For connecting equipment, there is 1 Schuko 230V 16A IP54 socket, 1 CEE 230V 16A IP44 socket and 1 CEE 400V 16A IP44 socket.
The model’s dimensions are 750 × 578 × 531 mm, and its dry weight is 80 kg. The noise level is 97 dB(A) LWA, and the sound pressure at a distance of 7 m is 69 dB. The accessories include the option of a transport kit with fixed or folding handles.
