The Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 is a powerful portable power station for users who need plenty of power in a compact and portable format. With a capacity of 2042 Wh and an output power of 2200 W, it is ideal for camping, motorhomes, the garden, the workshop, working on the move and as a reliable emergency power solution for the home.
Its high power output makes the Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 particularly versatile. Not only can it power smartphones, tablets, laptops, cameras and lighting, but it can also run significantly more power-hungry appliances such as fridges, kettles, coffee machines, power tools, electric barbecues, heaters or smaller household appliances within the appropriate power range.
With a capacity of 2042 Wh, the power station offers sufficient reserves for longer periods of use. When camping with a caravan or trailer, it can power a cool box, lights, an e-bike battery, a coffee machine or mobile electronics. At home, it helps to keep essential appliances such as fridges, routers, lighting or communication devices running during power cuts.
Despite its high capacity, the Explorer 2000 v2 remains surprisingly portable. The unit weighs just 17.5 kg, making it significantly lighter than many other power stations in this performance class. Measuring 335×264×292 mm, it is compact enough to be stored in a car, motorhome, utility room, office or workshop without taking up too much space.
The modern CTB technology, familiar from the electric vehicle sector, ensures a particularly compact and robust design. The battery is efficiently integrated into the housing structure, making better use of the internal space. This makes the power station smaller, lighter and more robust, without compromising on performance or capacity.
Inside, it features a long-lasting LiFePO4 battery. This battery technology is designed for high safety, consistent performance and a long service life. The Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 achieves up to 4,000 charge cycles down to 70% remaining capacity, making it suitable for many years of regular use.
A major advantage is its fast and flexible charging. The power station can be charged via a mains socket, solar panels, a car cigarette lighter socket or a hybrid charging solution. In fast-charging mode, a full charge can be achieved in around 1.33 hours. This is particularly handy when the power station needs to be prepared at short notice for a trip, a power cut or a work assignment.
The Explorer 2000 v2 is also well suited for mobile use with solar power. When combined with compatible Jackery solar panels, free solar energy can be used to recharge the power station whilst on the move or at home. According to the manufacturer, the SolarSaga 200 W panels achieve a high conversion efficiency of up to 25% and are designed for travel, camping and backup applications.
ChargeShield 2.0 technology ensures a high level of safety during charging and discharging. The system combines 62 protection mechanisms, intelligent algorithms and multiple physical layers of protection. This provides better protection for the battery, electronics and connected devices against overloading, voltage fluctuations, heat and other critical situations.
The Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 is also of interest for more sensitive applications. The integrated UPS function switches over in less than 20 ms in the event of a power cut. This means that suitable devices such as routers, computers, fridges, lighting or other essential appliances can continue to operate without a long interruption.
The power station also supports use whilst charging. This means that devices can continue to be powered whilst the station itself is being charged. This is particularly useful during prolonged power cuts, in a motorhome or when operating with solar panels.
For indoor use, its quiet operation is a key advantage. Via the Jackery app, a particularly quiet charging mode can be activated, in which the noise level during charging is around 30 dB. The device also remains pleasantly quiet when discharging: around 42 dB for AC and around 30 dB for DC.
App control makes operation more convenient. The Jackery app allows you to easily monitor the battery level, input power, output power, remaining runtime and other operating data. This means users can keep track of energy consumption and the state of charge at all times.
Another advantage is the innovative GaN inverter. It operates more efficiently than conventional solutions, reduces energy losses and supports better heat dissipation. This results in more stable performance, more efficient use of energy and extends the power station’s service life.
The Explorer 2000 v2 remains practical even during prolonged storage. Thanks to its very low self-discharge rate, it loses very little energy when switched off. According to the manufacturer, only around 5% of the battery charge is consumed over the course of a year, making the power station well-suited as a standby emergency power supply.
Its robust construction is designed for outdoor and backup situations. The casing is shock-resistant and flame-retardant, and the power station is certified to safety standards such as FCC, SGS and TÜV Rheinland. It has also been tested for impact resistance in accordance with IEC 60068-3-3.
The Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 is a powerful solution for anyone looking for a high-performance 2 kWh power station with high output power, long battery life, fast charging, a UPS function and quiet operation. It combines plenty of power, modern safety technology and good portability in a compact device.
