Könner & Söhnen KSB 31i inverter generator

TheKönner & Söhnen KSB 31i is a compact inverter generator designed for use in the home, at the holiday home, for camping, on-site work, mobile trading and as a backup power supply for small appliances. The model combines 2.8 kW of rated power and 3.0 kW of maximum power, whilst remaining easy to transport thanks to its weight of just 23 kg.

The main advantage of the KSB 31i is its inverter technology. It provides a stable output voltage with a pure sine wave, making the generator suitable not only for simple household appliances but also for more sensitive equipment: laptops, cameras, chargers, electronics, medical equipment and portable charging stations.

The generator is equipped with a KSB 210i 4-stroke petrol engine with a displacement of 208 cm³ and a power output of 5.4 hp. The engine complies with the EURO 5 standard, operates economically and is suitable for use in various domestic and mobile scenarios. A simple and reliable manual starter is used for starting.

The 5-litre fuel tank provides up to 4 hours of operation at 50% load. The estimated running time at 100% load is approximately 2 hours. To ensure the generator’s longevity, it is recommended not to operate it continuously at full capacity; prolonged operation should ideally be kept within 80% of the rated power.

One 230 V Schuko socket is provided for connecting appliances. The maximum current is 13 A, which is sufficient for many domestic tasks, power tools, lighting, chargers and other equipment within the generator’s power rating.

The model features a compact open-frame design measuring 495×385×495 mm. This format is convenient for transport, storage and quick deployment wherever a mobile power source is required. The noise level is 71/96 dB LpA (7 m)/LwA.
